I can go all day and practically perfect my weight loss diet program.

But for some reason, late at night when my belly starts grumbling, it happens...SWEET TOOTH ATTACK!!!

Of course, I never go for a healthy treat like yogurt...no, no, no. I go for the diet sabotaging ice cream or the bowl full of Christmas stocking candy!!!

The best solution would be to stick to my weight loss program and march my booty straight to bed, but of course, I don't. I could almost swear that those naughty treats are calling my name!

Well if this has happened to you, and I'm sure it has (especially if you are a woman!), then I'm going to share my sweet tooth attack diet saving recipe! This recipe is so good it doesn't taste like it's diet. One serving of this cake is guaranteed to satisfy that sweet tooth and keep you going strong on your diet program!

Guiltless Banana Split Cake
(Okay, it's not completely guiltless. You can't sit and eat the entire 13/9 pan and then lick it clean and expect weight loss!!!)
Low-fat, Low-calorie, Low-sugar Recipe:

Ingredients:

Pillsbury 50% less sugar yellow cake mix
1/3 c of no sugar added applesauce
4 egg whites
2 small boxes or 1 large box of sugar free, fat free instant banana cream pudding
2 3/4 cups of skim milk
1 large can of crushed pineapples in it's own juice
3 large bananas
2 small tubs or one large tub of lite whipped topping (can also use sugar free)
maraschino cherries (optional) adds calories
crushed pecans (optional) adds calories and fat

Directions:

In a large bowl make the cake mix using 1 1/4 cups of water, 1/3 c of no sugar added applesauce in place of the oil, and 4 egg whites in place of the 3 full eggs. Cook cake in a 13/9 cake pan following the directions on the box. Let cake cool completely. While cake is cooling, mix the 2 boxes of pudding with 2 3/4 cups of skim milk and put in refrigerator.

After cake is cool, spread the pudding evenly over the cake. Strain the pineapple of it's juice and spread it evenly over the pudding. Cover the entire surface of the cake with banana slices (goes on top of crushed pineapple). Finish by evenly spreading the lite whipped topping over the bananas and you're ready to go!!! It's quick, easy, and a great treat for you while you're on your weight loss diet program!

Keep refrigerated...16 servings...each serving has approximately 265 calories.

A couple of other tricks for a sweet tooth attack while on your weight loss diet program: Buy some sugar free jello and lite or sugar free whipped topping. Get a few small glasses and layer them with the sugar free jello and whipped topping, cover, and keep them in the refrigerator for when you need something sweet.

Also, I like to keep a box of the no sugar added natural fruit Popsicles in the freezer for when I get the munchies. They satisfy the cravings that could destroy your diet.
